20+ Gb of mail on my computer, several email accounts, going back 10+ years. I am struggling to find reasons to keep it and the reasons are very very few.

I feel guilty towards all the books I started to read and left in limbo for weeks or months. Goodreads tells me they're 11.

You're at the seaside on a beautifull small Mediteranean port, it's a warm and humid autumn day but there's no sun and only few kids dare to splash that lukewarm salty water. Lots of foreign and not so foreign languages float around, there's a cold beer on your table and the sweet and exquisite smell of orange flowers reaches you when you are between cigarettes and the timid wind changes direction blowing from the hills.

What to you play then on those headsets of yours? Fallen Mangoes by Slow Machete should be good enough to start, I think. Then maybe Wilco's Wishful Thinking. And possibly the good old Grandaddy's Ok With My Decay for the sake of good old times, right?

Best morning friend is 1.FM - Classic Rock straight from an app. Honest hard rock, no adds, often AC/DC (Shoot to Thrill as I write this).

On one hand the world population is on the rise, on the other hand: if each and every living human being has a soul then where are the souls for the new people forged? Where is the soul factory? What is a soul?

It's close to midnight, therefore before starting to read a bit of Carl Sagan the question is: what else do I want from the fridge?

Some say is bad taste to get drunk on wine but it is way worse to leave an opened bottle in the fridge.

So what would you do if you'd discover that your boy is colleague at school with Guillermo Vilas' kids? And you never really liked tennis?

I'm asking for a friend.

A nervous tic motion of the head
Head to the left
It's a nervous tic motion of the, of the, to the left

Sometimes you find yourself at the intersection of the bad vibes of the Universe and all you can do is to step back and do everything by yourself.

Unlike this seek for help.

Religion brings sense to the world only if you don't really try to make sense of the world.

Better read a science book instead of praying to your god to fix a problem that is intrinsic to the world that you believe the same god created as perfect.

"Thank god I'm alive" - after you've just had a succesful brain surgery. "Praise the lord" - after your kid was healed of leucemia, in a hospital. "Thank you god" - after a helicopter saved you from the icy seas after your boat crashed.

"In truck stops and hamburger joints
In Cadilllac limousines
In the company of has-beens
In bent-backs in sleeping forms
On pavement steps
In libraries and railway stations
In books and banks
In the pages of history
In sucidal cavalry attacks
I recognise...
Myself in every stranger's eyes

Roger loves making lists. Very much.

The Wall and The Pros and Cons of Hitchiking were really born in the same time. I Iike Pros and Cons more and I believe I even know why (or not) altough I can't listen to any of them entirely anymore.

I wonder which religion invented 'you must always respect the beliefs of others' and how did they pulled that one off? It obviously doesn't work outside the context of religion.
